The Coolest Looks From The 35th Film Independent Spirit Awards

Ahead of the 2020 Oscars, the 35th Film Independent Spirit Awards were held in Santa Monica, California on Feb. 8.

In the “spirit” of the beachside award show, the blue carpet, as always, featured some cool fashion. Check out some must see looks from the day below.
Renee Zellweger
The “Judy” actress looked impossibly cool in a black two-piece Christian Door Fall 2019 Couture look styled impeccably with black pumps, sharp sunglasses and David Webb ring.
Jennifer Lopez
The “Hustlers” star wore a Valentino Pre-Fall2020 gown which featured an long sleeve sequin embellished turtleneck top and a fuchsia taffeta ball gown skirt. The look was accessorized with a  silver mirrored belt, Anabela Chan earrings, a Djula  ring and a matching clutch.
Scarlett Johansson
The “JoJo Rabbit” chose a Balmain white and black sequin polka dot midi dress with a fold detail, embellished neckline. Hanut Singh earrings and black ankle strap pumps finished up her look.
Laura Dern
The “Marriage” story, alongside her daughter, wore a Valentino Spring 2020 multi-printed floral, pleated dress which she accessorized with a red bag and Schutz boots.
Kaitlyn Dever
The “Booksmart” actress also chose a Valentino Pre-Fall 2020 tulle, floral sequin dress.
Margaret Qualley
The “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” actress wore a Chanel Pre-Fall 2020 long sleeve ombre, silk-chiffon pleated dress, with a chain belted waist. She finished the look with Roger Vivier  blue heels.
Zazie Beetz
Just says before Valentine’s Day, the “Atlanta” actress wore a fun Rodarte Fall 2019 white and red heart printed dress featured a ruched bodice and one ruffle long sleeve, styled with metallic sandals.
Naomi Watts
The Aussie beauty donned a head-to-toe Chanel Resort 2020 look which included a printed silk-chiffon midi dress and white and black toe cap boots.
Hunter Schafer
The “Euphoria” star walks the blue carpet in an all-white look by Loewe.
Aubrey Plaza
The host of the night rocked a plunging red and black colorblock suit from Alexander McQueen.
Amber Heard
The rocked a vintage-inspired blue and brown Fendi suit.
