Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd At TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS: Day 1

New in 2018, TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS kicked off on Friday night with sounds by Mel Debarge and Chase B, a surprise performance by rapper Nav, and interactive brand activations with presenting partners Palms Casino Resort and PUMA.

As the music festival drew to a close on its first night with headliner The Weeknd, TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS welcomed its first VIP guests for a star-studded after party in Palms Springs. After surprising fans with Jamie Foxx and Rita Ora on stage at the festival, Norwegian DJ Kygo stopped by for a post-performance celebration.

Baby Driver star Ansel Elgort was one of the first to arrive at the private estate with longtime girlfriend Violetta Komyshan. Straight from the festival, donning the same long orange dress, Iggy Azalea arrived hand in hand with rapper Tyga and posted up in front of the DJ booth together for most of the party.

Nicki Minaj arrived with Migos rapper Quavo and took over a VIP section together. The pair later left together but not before Nicki danced atop a couch to her new hit ‘Chun-Li’. Next up, festival headliner.

The Weeknd arrived with a group of friends including ‘Call Me by Your Name’ star Timothee Chalamet, receiving praise and congratulatory messages from everyone in the room on a stellar closing set.

The final group of notables turned quite a few heads in the room as new parents Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott arrived alongside Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Younes Bendjima, Jordyn Woods and Chance the Rapper. The crew joined up with Nicki and Quavo’s VIP table, sharing a few laughs before closing down the party for the evening.

While guests sipped on specialty Remy Martin cocktails and Heineken, other guests likeTerrence J and girlfriend Jasmine Sanders posted up at Weedmaps’ outdoor bar. Other special guests at TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS on Friday night included French Montana, rapper Belly, Nina Dobrev, Scott Eastwood, Taylor Hill, Lais Ribeiro, Anwar Hadid, Kaia Gerber with brother Presley Gerber, Teyana Taylor, Busta Rhymes, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, and CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey.

On the heels of unveiling their upcoming participation in the Palms $620 million renovation project, TAO Group partnered with the Las Vegas resort and casino to produce a unique experience for guests at TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS. The Palms Suite at TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS served as a celebration of both the old and new Palms with a visually transformative experience that honored the hotel’s iconic past while welcoming its new chapter. A black and white homage to the Palms of yesterday transformed into a gold, decadent suite – and served as an exclusive hangout for guests throughout the night.

The PUMA Lounge at TAO x REVOLVE – DESERT NIGHTS saw the brand’s latest premium collections on display. On Friday night, the second drop of the PUMA x XO collection was previewed ahead of it May 10 global release. “Crafted Renaissance” is the drop’s theme where contemporary streetwear meets Renaissance art. On spotlight, was the new colorway of the PUMA x XO Parallel in black-white colorway. Guests snapped photos in front of PUMA’s digital wall as they checked out the new XO merchandise.
