Kendall Jenner Named World’s Highest Paid Model

Gisele Bundchen has officially been dethroned.

After holding the No. 1 spot for the world’s highest paid model for 14 years straight, Forbes released its annual list with none other than Kendall Jenner in the top spot.

The 22-year-old reality starlet turned supermodel brought in $22 million this, as compared to runner-up Bundchen’s $17.5 million. Jenner made her first appearance on the list back in  in 2015, when she raked in $4 million. Forbes credits Jenner’s 85 million Instagram followers which helped her landbrand partnerships with Estée Lauder, La Perla and Adidas.

This year also marks Bella Hadid’s debut on the list with $6 million in earrings (9th) as well as Ashley Graham’s with $5.5 million in earnings. Ranking 10th, Graham became the first plus size model to land a spot on the list.

Other notable models who made the list include Chrissy Teigen (3rd), Adriana Lima (4th), Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with $9.5 million in earnings (tied for 5th), Karlie Kloss with $9 million in earrings (7th) and Liu Wen with $6.5 million in earrings (8th).

Originally from Detroit, Ashley has been a style curator and editor for over a decade, having lived in Washington DC and New York City before moving to West Hollywood in 2015. She has written for The Washington Post, Hollywood Life, Haute Living, Vanity Fair, International Business Times and Fashion Times. She lives for leather jackets, statement sunglasses, RuPaul's Drag Race and her rescue basset hound Cletus.
