American Express Platinum House was back at the Parker Palm Springs, and bigger than ever, offering Platinum Card Members exclusive access to even more unforgettable experiences before hitting up the festival grounds on April 14 and 15.
Coming off the relaunch of the American Express Platinum Card in March 2017, the brand brought the first-ever Platinum House to life at the Parker Palm Springs during weekend one of Coachella last year. In year two, it was re-imagined and re-invented and included amazing live performances by Julia Michaels, Justine Skye, Duckworth on the Republic Records Platinum House stage and a dreamy, ethereal design aesthetic, brought to life with an installation by artist and Platinum Collective member Daniel Arsham’s design firm Snarkitecture.

Other on-site activations included a custom Palm Springs-inspired collection from Platinum Collective member Quincy Moore’s Knowlita, Express crystal energy readings and Reiki healing, the first-ever SoulAnnex pop-up from SoulCycle, with morning classes taught by SoulCycle Founding Senior Master Instructor and Platinum Collective member, Stacey Griffith, festival-ready beauty looks from MILK Makeup (including on-site beauty expertise from co-founder and Platinum Collective member Zanna Roberts Rassi) and Saks Fifth Avenue, featuring temporary tattoos by Tattly around three of this season’s top fashion trends from Saks’ “It List” – embellishments, tropical and logo-mania and Shoppable trends available throughout the space, including MILK Makeup, Knowlita capsule collection, Monday Swimwear and more.

There was also premium food and drinks, including a brand new, signature Platinum cocktail – “Platinum Heat” – created in collaboration with Platinum Collective members Hella Cocktail Co., Gotham Greens and Casa Dragones Tequila.

Card Members also had opportunity to give back, with on-site donation stations and a percentage of the proceeds from the Knowlita Capsule Collection, Monday Swimwear and MILK makeup sales going to Young Audiences to support arts education in schools.
Celebs in attendance included Laverne Cox, Jamie Chung, Brian Greenberg, Hannah Bronfman, Daniel Kaluuya, Brad Goreski and more.
